Lack of proper snow trekking gear and accessories will not allow you to have a proper trek in the snow, leave aside letting you enjoy the experience. When planning your supplies, first begin with your footwear. At least two pairs of water and snow proof hiking boots and another pair of trainer or causal shoes, along with at least five pairs of woolen and cotton socks are mandatory. Make sure you keep an adequate number of fleece and thermal shirts, leggings, vests and other inner wear, along with fleece jumpers and sweaters. Stack in a handful of full-sleeved sweatshirts along with a pair of warm jackets.
Finally, it is extremely important to have a wind/water proof outer garment to protect yourself from the vagaries of weather. Make sure you carry a pair of good sunglasses and a cap for sun protection, along with sunscreen lotions and sun balms.
Other items that will be required include a rucksack, duffel bags, film rolls and camera, torch, towels and handkerchiefs and all the major toiletries items.

The two most common ailments that might lead to need of medications are fall injuries and altitude sickness. Make sure you carry a well-stocked first aid kit, especially with enough ointments and lotions.
Altitude sickness can be caused by the lesser amount of oxygen in the air might lead to vomiting or breathlessness. However, experts strongly suggest that the best remedy for altitude sickness is to only be well prepared and know your health history in advance. For instance, if you have a history of heart trouble or asthma, it will serve you best if you steer clear of any dangerous treks which can even prove fatal.
